The Plastic Finesse Approach

Finesse in Muskie fishing is not an approach that is embraced by many of us but it can be an effective presentation throughout the season when other presentations just don't seem to be producing.

Here are some plastic lures from Moore's Lures for you to consider:

A Rigged Lizard

This 7" Lizard is rigged on a 5/8 oz. Black Pyramid Jig. The rig has a 12" 40# nylon-coated stranded wire.

The 6" Creature is rigged on a oz. Black Swimmer Jig. The rig has a 12" 40# nylon-coated stranded leader.

A Rigged Creature Spin

A Rigged Reaper

Rigged Reapers are offered in two sizes.

The 8" Reaper is rigged on a 1-1/8 oz. Black HD Power Head Jig. It is outfitted with a 12" 40# nylon-coated stranded leader.

These plastic lures range from about $3.00 - $5.00 and are an excellent option for the Muskie angler who wants to try a little different approach to the hunt.
